You just found it.</p> <p> </p> <p><em>We are currently looking for an experienced (Senior) Engineer Software (m/f/d) to join our Monitoring Devices team in the research and development department in Feldkirchen, (Munich), part of the product area Critical Care at Getinge. The team is responsible for development and sustaining of Advanced Monitoring Platform products like the PulsioFlex Monitor or OEM integrations of our technologies.</em></p> <p><em>We at Getinge believe in self-organized and cross-functional teams, adopting to lean and agile methods in product development and project management to successfully realize medical technology in a fast changing and complex environment.</em></p> <p><em>We closely collaborate with other international Getinge sites like in Solna, Sweden within our business area Acute Care Therapies, for development and manufacturing. Also, daily cooperation with our contract manufacturing partners is key. As an experienced (Senior) Engineer Software at Getinge we would like you to manage and support product development and sustaining initiatives.</em></p> <p> </p> <p><em>Your tasks</em></p> <ul> <li><em>Keep the software of GETINGE products up to the highest standards of safety, security, efficacy, and joy of use</em></li> <li><em>Contribute to the development of advanced patient monitoring systems</em> <ul> <li><em>Create application software and embedded software according to IEC 62304 standard</em></li> <li><em>Build product requirements and implementation concepts</em></li> <li><em>Review, adjust and extend the software architecture of our systems</em></li> <li><em>Design and implement new features, bug fixes or improved workflows</em></li> <li><em>Develop highly attractive user interfaces </em></li> <li><em>Define test cases and verify in accordance with applicable standards</em></li> <li><em>Collaborate with other functions like R&amp;D, Product Management, Medical or Regulatory during development to achieve releases</em></li> </ul> </li> </ul> <p><em> </em></p> <p><em>Required education, knowledge and skills:</em></p> <ul> <li><em>Relevant degree in computer science, electrical engineering, medical engineering or similar relevant education</em></li> <li><em>At least 3 years of experience in software development</em></li> <li><em>Profound knowledge of C++ (at least C++14)</em></li> <li><em>Experience with state of the art software development methods (source control, continuous integration, unit testing, code reviews)</em></li> <li><em>Fluent written and spoken English and preferably also German </em></li> <li><em>On-site work for at least 2 days per week is expected</em></li> <li><em>Self-sufficient working style, proactive knowledge acquisition</em></li> <li><em>Very organized and structured working, high reliability </em></li> <li><em>Good and open communication skills</em></li> <li><em>Positive approach, „can do“ attitude</em></li> </ul> <p><em> </em></p> <p><em>Additional highly useful and demanded skills</em></p> <ul> <li><em>Experience in software development in a regulated environment, preferably medical industry</em></li> <li><em>Background in working in an agile environment</em></li> <li><em>Pracitcal knowledge with Embedded Linux, and ARM based SoCS, i.MX8 or similar</em></li> <li><em>Knowledge of Qt</em></li> </ul> <p><em> </em></p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>About us  </p> <p>Getinge is on an exciting transformation journey constantly looking for new ways to innovate together with our customers to meet the healthcare challenges of the future.
