- The Assistant Manager, Genesis Owner Marketing is primarily responsible for the coordination of the strategy development, program development, feature/service of the Owner Marketing, for Aftersales activities. This includes business partner/vendor management and enhancements to align with Genesis brand direction. Enhancing customer marketing to deliver specific, actionable, and relevant message that produce higher response rate, increased retention/loyalty, drive parts sales and retailer profitability. This position will be responsible for maintaining strategy of Connected Services (GCS) owner marketing communications including being well versed in all backend systems related to GCS. In addition, this role is responsible for coordinating all Connex activities. This position is also responsible for managing the scripts and production of How-To and Technology Understanding video’s that are delivered to the Genesis customer during the 1st 6 weeks of ownership, at minimum.
Major Responsibilities
- Use advanced knowledge to manage the Genesis Owner Marketing program to develop and enhance Aftersales marketing messages to deliver specific, actionable, and relevant messages that increase service visits, parts sales, retention, and loyalty following brand guidelines.
- Create and maintain business documents including policies and procedures, desk procedures, manuals, and guides.
- Coordinate, research, and respond to Regions, Field, and Retailers as necessary for administration and inquires of all programs.
- Responsible for the Statements of Work (SOW) for Owner Marketing, Genesis Connected Services and How-To videos, including all vendor Management for Budget/Invoice responsibilities.
- Work with existing and perspective supplier(s) to develop and maintain necessary RFPs, SOW, Service Level Agreements (SLA) etc. coordinating efforts through HMA Purchasing and Legal.
- Maintain supplier agreements, change orders, purchase requests, purchase orders, and invoices.
- Act as liaison between supplier and other GMA departments as needed, to scope out new project requirements.
Major Responsibilities (continued)
- Stay informed about competitor trends, new technologies and perform necessary research and analysis to make recommendations for improved guest and retailer satisfaction.
- Documents and/or analyzes customer touch points and customer data to identify marketing opportunities.
- Participate in product testing activities; Develop business requirements, test scripts, and perform user acceptance testing.
- Coordinate system assessment, design, and implementation of necessary technology to supports data and system needs of the owner connect marketing area.
- Exercise discretion to maintain budget, including annual development, monthly accruals, ongoing monitoring, and reconciliation.
- Includes overall department budget and individual budgets for above programs.
- Manage all activities related to Connex and Genesis Aftersales including, but not limited to, participating in all workshops and ideation sessions, acting as a liaison between GMA, Epsilon and HAEA.
- Manage all dealer supplier invoicing, reimbursements, and inquiries for field and retailers.
- Interface with finance to ensure timeliness and accuracy of monthly dealer payments to ensure timely delivery of monthly co-op billing for dealers advertising co-op accounts.
- Develop and maintain budget reports to analyze and accurately track forecasted program budget versus monthly spend.
- Effectively communicate monthly budget analysis to executive level management, as well as other departments whose budgets are impacted by Owner Marketing programs.
- Takes leadership in developing business requirements, implementation, and maintenance of marketing platform to support all Owner Marketing customer touch point communications, including connected services.
- Maintains active, up-to-date log sheet to track issues and enhancements and coordinates with management and IT as necessary.
