Solipsys is a wholly owned subsidiary of Collins Aerospace/RTX and is currently seeking a Software Engineer with experience in C++ to join our diverse team who is talented, highly motivated, has a passion for finding innovative solutions to problems, and committed to quality. What You Will Do​

• Develop innovative new features for a new real-time situational awareness Command & Control Systems (C2) using C++.
• Design, architect and code critical capabilities in an active Agile environment.
• Work in a highly collaborate team environment to design, architect and innovate software solutions.

Qualifications You Must Have 

• Demonstrated skills with C++ related Technologies: Boost/STL/Standard C++ Library/et cetera.
• Demonstrated experience developing software in a Linux environment.
• Strong computer science fundamentals such as data structures, algorithms, distributed systems, information retrieval. Relevant work experience with full life cycle development including exposure to software requirements, design, development, debug and test.
• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

Qualifications We Prefer

• Relevant work experience in software development using Object Oriented Design and multithreaded systems.
• Ability to engage & build positive relationships with both customers as well as internal & external employees.
• Strong oral & written communication skills & proven leadership skills.
