Sr. Project Manager

Main Tasks

• Managing complex transformation projects
• Steer the implementation of a new plant layout / plant transformation
• Coordinate all ongoing and future improvement projects for the plant and assign resources
• Organizing project teams and assigning individual responsibilities
• Developing project schedules
• Determining resource requirements
• Monitoring and reporting on the status of projects including cost, timing, and staffing
• Ensuring adherence to internal and external quality standards
• Identifying/resolving obstacles to completing project on time and to budget
• Integrating vendor tasks into the project plan and tracking and reviewing vendor deliverables
• Lead and assign projects to the project manager / launch manager

Your Profile

Education and Experience:
 

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or any related field along with 5 years’ relevant experience in a manufacturing environment or industrial setting, OR at least 10 years of relevant experience in managing heavy manufacturing projects if without degree
• Relevant experience: Managing projects within a manufacturing environment or industrial setting, coordinating launches for new production equipment

Required Skills:

• Must be able to manage a project team in a fast paced and pressured environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills:

• Strong Lean background
• Experienced in managing complex layout changes in a manufacturing plant
