We are seeking a dedicated IT System Administrator to join our on-site team in New York City (Onsite). In this role, you will manage and support our IT infrastructure, ensuring smooth operations and security compliance. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact in a growing office, supporting the backbone of our technological environment.

What You Will Do

• Manage user accounts and rights according to IT security policies and standard

• Install, configure and troubleshoot computer hardware and software

• Perform maintenance activities (e.g. backups, licenses, etc)

• Respond to user queries in a timely manner and identify, research, and resolve problems

• Document current processes and identify areas for improvement

• Order IT equipment and manage accurate inventories

• Work closely with HR to ensure a smooth On-boarding and Off-boarding process

• Running network cabling, switching, and direct contractors as needed

• Assisting in managing the firewalls and office infrastructure

Requirements

What You Will Bring

• 3 - 5 years of job-related technical support experience in a corporate IT environment

• Experience with configuration of Single Sign On (SSO) with Google Workspace, MS Entra Id, OneLogin, or Okta

• Working knowledge of Office 365, Google Workspace, Slack administration

• Experience with automated deployment for Mac and Windows (MS Intune or JAMF)

• Experience with Terraform and Google Apps Manager (GAM)

• Jira/Confluence Administrator experience

• Technical understanding of IT hardware and software (Mac, Windows, and Linux)

• Foundational knowledge of networking-DHCP, Gateways, TCP/IP, and how it relates to desktop troubleshooting

• Basic knowledge of database management systems (e.g. MySQL, Maria DB, etc.) and web debugging tools (e.g. Charles / Wireshark/ Chrome DevTools)

• Problem-solving approach with excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work as a part of a global team and independently
