About the role

Job Description:

Airbus Commercial Aircraft is looking for a In-Service Traceability Front desk leader(f/m) to join our Maintenance & Retrofit Engineering team within Airbus' Customer Services Department based in Toulouse, France.

You will join a team of highly motivated professionals across the globe, striving to develop and deliver value-adding support and services to our customers.

We are developing a unique front desk for the maintenance & retrofit perimeter. We want to reinforce our capacity to answer the customers queries by improving our time coverage, our quality performance and finally our on-time deliveries.

In this role, you will be responsible for the “In-service Traceability” Front Desk performance and to drive continuous improvement related to Customer Front Desk process, tools, governance to ensure the best queries answer is provided to our customers. You will work in a close collaboration with our “in-service traceability” specialist.

DIMENSIONS:

  • Part of  Maintenance&Retrofit Front Desk organisations

  • Transverse role in relation with Schedule Maintenance organization based in European Airbus sites, Mobile, India and China - 200 FTE

  • Management of 1 subcontractor

  • +1000 queries per year related to standard Schedule Maintenance & knowledge on ASAC-FCD-AMPES-RDAF, Services and Customer Services Organization

  • Customers are potentially all Airbus customers worldwide

  • All Airbus Platforms

  • Main stakeholders: Customer Services Depatmentent ⇒ Retrofit Solutions Engineering & Engineering Department

Your challenges:

Defining and Enforcing Airworthiness Conformity

  • Determine the critical aircraft components requiring reference, tracking, and recording in production to ensure continuity of conformity with the approved Maintenance Programme Airworthiness in Service ( Aircraft Inspection Report and Single Traceability File (STF) referential)

  • Approve the Airworthiness Statement of Component Conformity (ASACs) and Repair Design Approval Forms (RDAF) Category M as the certified Responsible Technical Expert (RTE3), guaranteeing compliance with regulatory and company standards.
     

Cross-Functional Traceability Leadership

  • Lead and champion the definition, promotion, and continuous improvement of end-to-end component traceability across all affected Airbus departments ( design, production, Final Assembly Lines (FALs), to in-service operations).

  • Contribute to the definition and necessary evolutions of the in-service traceability process, ensuring alignment with airlines and Approved Maintenance Organisations (AMO) (MRO, Repair stations,Vendors, Part Traders etc…) best practices and evolving regulatory requirements.
