Systems Administrative II Field Service Representative (FSR)

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator to support the Ground Based Air Defense (GBAD) Processing Data Subsystem (PDS) from Common Aviation Command and Control System (CAC2S). This individual can be located remotely along the east coasts, preferably in North Carolina, South Carolina, or Maryland. There will be travel to Charleston, Bloomington, Yuma, and other east coast installations. This person will work with our SSA team in Bloomington in supporting test, travel, software integration, and user support.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with military customers to gain a full understanding of their operational needs and/or issues(s) to be resolved
- Effectively manage time to respond to service calls in a timely fashion
- Complete system installations, troubleshooting procedures, and perform system operational checks
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues as they occur
- Provide system administrative support and possible training to technical users
- Work with software integration team to test and deploy new software releases
Requirements:
- Final Secret Clearance (United States Citizenship)
- Must have prior military experience (MOS 5974 preferred), familiar with the software maintainer side of Marine Corps software systems
- Willing to travel CONUS or OCONUS
- Ability to identify issues and research fixes
- Experience with Networking, VMWare, physical servers, switches, and routers
- Collaborate and communicate daily with software integration team in Bloomington, Indiana
- Self starter, able to work well within a team environment, having good interpersonal skills, and ability to work effectively with customers
- Willing to work off-hours as specific needs dictate and willing to assume more responsibility as required
Preferred Skills & Experience: Currently hold or have the ability to obtain a CompTIA Security Plus certification prior to starting
Education: A Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology
Clearance: A Final Secret Clearance is required for this position. Applicants selected will be subject to a security investigation and may need to meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. US Citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Compensation at SimVentions is determined by a number of factors, including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, education, training, security clearance, work location, skills, knowledge, and competencies, as well as alignment with our corporate compensation plan and contract specific requirements.
The projected annual compensation range for this position is $85,000 - $123,000 (USD). This estimate reflects the standard salary range for this position and is just one component of the total compensation package that SimVentions offers.
