Software Engineer

DESCRIPTION:

Duties: Design, develop, modify, and test software systems and user interfaces. Build and maintain internal software solutions to meet global model risk regulations. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global model risk management guidance and regulations. Liaise with cross-functional product team to define system requirements and design specifications. Recommend solutions to enhance existing/introduce new business processes and systems. Analyze user needs and requirements to determine implementation within time and cost constraints. Coordinate software deployments and monitor health of applications. Design, develop, and modify database solutions leveraging relational and non-relational technologies. Design, deploy, and monitor AWS native software solutions. Conduct code reviews and review code deployments for junior engineers.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus three (3) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer or related occupation. The employer will alternatively accept a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Engineer or related occupation.

Full-Time. Salary:  $169,229 - $185,000 per year.
