Summary/objective: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail oriented Part-Time Accounting Intern to join our finance team at Angel Studios. This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in accounting while working with a cutting-edge entertainment company. The Accounting Intern will work closely with the finance team to assist with various accounting tasks and contribute to the overall financial health of the organization.

Essential Functions

• Assist with accounts receivable processes for theatrical releases, including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer billing.
• Support the month-end close process by reconciling accounts, reviewing journal entries, and ensuring accurate financial data. Help maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation.
• Assist in tracking and reconciling bank transactions and credit card statements.
• Conduct research and analysis to support various accounting projects and initiatives. Collaborate with other departments to gather and analyze financial data for reporting purposes. 
• Assist with ad-noc financial and accounting tasks as assigned by the finance team.
• Must attend and contribute to regularly scheduled staff meetings.
• Proficiency in speaking, reading and writing in the English language required.  Additional language proficiency is a plus.
