Press Brake Operator

We are currently looking for a proficient Press Brake Operator who will play a crucial role in our manufacturing processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and ensuring the proper maintenance of press brake machinery, which is essential for producing high-quality sheet metal components.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate press brake machines according to specifications.
• Adjust machine settings based on metal type, thickness, and bend angles.
• Select and install appropriate dies, punches, and tools.
• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings for accurate production.
• Conduct calculations for bending allowances and material characteristics.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality controls.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or machining role is preferred but not essential.
• Ability to physically lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality outcomes.
• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Physical and Environmental Requirements:

• Able to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
• Work environment may include exposure to loud machinery and varying temperatures.
• Physical activity includes bending, reaching, and handling materials.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn at all times, including safety glasses, gloves, and steel-toe boots.
