Senior Accounting Specialist

<p><span><strong>Nokia Technologies</strong> is licensing Nokia intellectual property, including patents, technologies, and the Nokia brand, building on Nokia’s continued innovation and decades of R&amp;D leadership in technologies deployed in virtually all connected devices used today. </span></p><p><br/><br/><span>Nokia Technologies <strong>Finance team</strong> leads Nokia Technologies’ accounting and business controlling activities and processes to support world class licensing business. This team interacts closely with Business contacts in Nokia Technologies and other stakeholders within Nokia group.</span><br/><br/> </p> <ul><li>Manages the accounting activities within own area in accordance with the agreed targets. </li><li>Supports our accounting managers in monthly accounting and reporting tasks. </li><li>Also coordination of periodical tax and other statutory activities are in core of your responsibilities.</li><li>Have an opportunity to influence on continuous improvement work by participating in financial processes, reporting and tools development projects </li><li>Ensures compliance with Nokia accounting principles, internal controls policies and reporting procedures, as well as with external rules and regulations.</li><li>Maintains productive relationships with internal / external stakeholders and authorities<br/><br/><br/><br/> </li></ul> <p>Must have:</p><ul><li>Master of Science Degree in Economics (Accounting, Finance, Audit)</li><li>Minimum of 2-3 years of relevant accounting working experience</li><li>Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel with advanced functions and Power Point content creation skills. </li><li>Experience in working with some of the finance tools like SAP ByD, other SAP platforms, Hyperion, Redbox, OS and experience using automate tools, like Power Automate, for running some of the accounting processes.</li><li>Good understanding of financial accounting, fixed assets, Finnish tax and statutory reporting</li><li>Good knowledge of the associated accounting standards (IFRS/FAS) and/or SOX controls are seen as a bonus.</li><li>Fluent in both written and spoken English, proficient Finnish skills also considered as an advantage.</li></ul><p> </p><p>Nice to have:</p><ul><li>Ability to execute multiple tasks and adhere to strict deadlines in a fast-paced, multi-cultural environment with excellent follow-up skills.</li><li>Team player with ability and drive to independently produce deliverables while maintaining strong collaboration with cross-functional teams.
