Who We Are:

Our pediatrics unit is 8-beds and serves newborns and children of all ages with viral and respiratory illnesses, diabetes, and those requiring post-operative care. The pediatrics department collaborates with Massachusetts General Hospital for Children pediatric specialist to care for our patients. Pediatrics does accept appropriate adult patients when the need arises.

About the Job:
As a member of the Patient Care Services team, the Pediatric Registered Nurse cares for newborns to adolescents with a variety of illnesses and injuries and may also care for adults who are post-partum or who have non-complex illnesses or procedures.

What You’ll Do:

• Delivers nursing care by utilizing a patient-centered approach incorporating the Professional Practice Model.
• Provides patient-centered care through teamwork and collaboration to achieve quality patient outcomes.
• Achieve the following competencies:
  •  Intravenous Therapy
  • Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurse Pediatric Certification (ENPC)
  • Mother-Baby Post-Partum Care

Who You Are:

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with AND
• Current NH licensure as a Registered Nurse
• At least 2 years of Labor & Delivery, Recovery/Post-partum, Maternal required

7p-7:30am; EOW 36 hours weekly
