What will I be doing?

Maintain and enhance complex delivery configurations integrating most Akamai products other than media streaming. Field requests from internal teams for enhancements to the configurations, architect, and implement the changes in each environment configuration. Work with the broader Release Architecture and Reliability Engineering team on overall platform health and monitoring. Work with Information Security and Cloud Operations as required. Collaborate with Developers and infra teams to help resolve performance issues. Requires up to 5% domestic travel.

SALARY: $160,000 to $180,000 per year

Requirements:

Requires Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Electronic Engineering, or a related field and 4 years of experience in a Solutions Architect or related position. Must possess experience with resolving and improving web performance; utilizing Akamai Web Performance Product Ion Premier; utilizing Kona Security Product suite: Web Application Firewall (WAF), Bot Manager, SiteShield, Client Reputation, FastDNS; solving complex problems using logs and stack traces (splunk); identifying the best solution within Akamai for new initiatives within the digital space; and maintaining web platform health and monitoring.
