Job Summary/Basic Functions

The Assistant Director will coordinate the daily operation of Big E Central, ensuring the smooth delivery of Student Service in the areas of Financial Aid, Student Accounting, Registration, and other student related needs. The position will aid Senior Counselors and Counselors as they actively serve students and their families through chat, phone, and in- person interactions. In addition, this position will provide metrics reporting, onboarding, and software updating, and provide supervision and personnel functions within the Big E Central Office.

Minimum Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree required.

Experience: Three years of work experience required. Customer service experience in higher education or office setting preferred.

Job Duties:

• 70% - Aid the counseling staff in addressing student concerns and providing excellent customer service via direct customer contact, and managing escalated issues. - (Essential)
• 15% - Update and maintain policy and procedure documentation and similar resources for partner units and Central Student Services. - (Essential)
• 10% - Provide critical feedback to leadership concerning process improvements and trends in student barriers. - (Essential)
• 5% - Support the office functions by completing all other duties and special projects as assigned. - (Essential)
