Your Tasks

The "Process Systems Engineering" department is responsible for the further development of the core technologies for the production of cosmetics in the Beiersdorf plants worldwide. The areas of responsibility include the definition of technology concepts, design principles and standards for process engineering systems and processes, as well as the management of technical investment projects in Cooperation with international project teams.

For our team we are looking for an intern who will support the team in the concept development and engineering of production facilities and supply facilities. The technology fields include various mixer, raw material and mass handling systems, as well as all peripheral supply and disposal processes such as water treatment, cleaning and media supply. The aim is to adapt the company's process technologies to market requirements and to ensure improvements in the areas of safety, quality, efficiency & sustainability, agility and innovative ability.

This position will support our Sustainability Agenda and therefore will be deeply linked to Black and White Utilities.

Some tasks as part of the internship are e.g.:

• Process optimization with regard to standardization and increased efficiency

• Autonomous follow-up/supervision/control of small projects

• Analysis and Concept Studies of Water/Cleaning and Utility Processes

• Data analysis and presentation in Excel and Powerpoint

• Support of the project manager in daily business

• Documentation of technical specifications

Your Profile

• Technical studies (e.g. process engineering or mechanical engineering)

• Good knowledge of English and basic knowledge of German

• Having fun solving process engineering tasks

• MS Office knowledge

• Problem-solving skills, quick comprehension and willingness to learn

• Ability to work in a team and communicative competence

• Independent, structured and careful way of working
