About the Role

As a User Experience Designer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and engaging digital experiences for our users. Your primary focus will be on understanding user needs and translating them into design solutions that enhance usability and satisfaction. This is a part-time, hourly role that could grow into a full-time, salaried role for the right person.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals, user requirements, and design objectives
• Conduct user research to gain insights into user behaviors, needs, and preferences
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and visual designs that effectively communicate design concepts
• Develop and maintain design guidelines, patterns, and libraries
• Conduct usability testing and gather feedback to iterate on designs
• Collaborate with developers to ensure the successful implementation of designs
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in user experience design

Requirements

• Proven experience as a User Experience Designer or similar role
• Proficiency in design tools such as Axure, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong knowledge of React and other front-end development technologies
• Experience designing for mobile applications and responsive web design
• Familiarity with SharePoint or other content management systems
• Solid understanding of digital design principles, information architecture, and interaction design
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and ability to work in an Agile environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• 3 years of experience as a User Experience Designer or similar role
• Proficiency in design tools such as Axure, InVision, and Adobe Creative Suite
