The Company

Job Purpose

Provide strategic and operational business direction to the Autonomous Systems Business unit in collaboration with key stakeholders (KLTD, KAC, Komatsu distributors), MODULAR corporate functions, and regional offices. Including sales, deployment, support, and training.
The ultimate goals are to instill a culture of high performance and quality within the organization to achieve a high-level of satisfaction, engagement and loyalty among Komatsu’s customer base.   The business results will be measured through customer satisfaction, high performing employee retention, improvement to market share, product and service penetration, and growth in revenues and profitability.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

• Deploy and support the autonomous solutions as a global head function and capture VOC feedback
• Expand Komatsu automation business in enterprise level
• Work with relevant stakeholders in Komatsu group and Product Innovation to ensure Technology and Innovation activities are conducted to ensure future creation of unique customer value and growth of the Komatsu Mining Business
• Responsible for conducting mining automation Business Development activities including creation and evaluation of business models and sales and marketing activities
• Responsible for Mining automation Product Introduction, participation and coordination of Global Deployments, and Global Support. Provide Functional leadership and control over Mining automation regional support organizations (Tier 1 and 2)
• Build a professional, competent and high-performing team of that can assist executive to deliver on the Purpose and Responsibilities of this function
• Identify and nurture potential future leaders of the organization by managing development opportunities based on quantifiable results delivered. Act decisively when performance levels are consistently not met by individuals, thus creating opportunities for high performing employees
• Provide advice, guidance and direction to the Executive team to ensure creation and execution of realistic financial and execution plans aligned with Company Strategic Initiatives and Business Goals 
• Monitor and analyze operating performance data, including safety and customer satisfaction, of the Company as a whole and particular Operations on an ongoing basis and ensures that acceptable performance is achieved
• Work with partners in the Komatsu group company to understand which services and processes result in meaningful adoption of product features and functionality, high customer satisfaction, and enthusiastic customer promoters.
• Instill by example a culture of success and continuous improvement to this organization applying PDCA cycle to enhance key areas of the business and address shortcomings  
• Lead and advise on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/strategies and regulatory action
• Develop, implement and enforce policies and procedures of the organization by way of systems that will improve the safety of our employees and the overall operation and effectiveness of the corporation
• Identify synergies within the Digital Solutions group between surface and underground including improvements in product integration between FMS (fleet management ) and AHS.
• Identify synergies across the business, manage change across the organization and drive efficiency
• Prioritize safety, quality, reliability, ease of use, deploy and support when developing products
