Job Description
BryceTech is looking for a Employee Award and Recognition Specialist for our Federal government customer.
This candidate will need to have the following experience:
- Acting as a liaison with various stakeholders to maintain up-to-date knowledge of award nomination procedures, criteria, and administrative techniques;
- Maintaining local awards documentation (e.g. local guidance, timelines, processes, evaluations, and policies) and ensure such documentation is current and in alignment with leadership guidance and on-going program evaluation;
- Providing awards system training to local users and maintaining local configurations, including for user accounts, award definitions, budget structure, and validation and processing of awards actions
- Administering the Awards budget, track the budget and report to management, and provide budget implementation guidance
- Providing guidance and training to award nominators, evaluation committees and other staff regarding nomination submission, nomination reviews, regulatory requirements and program precedents, and prepare/issue documentation of nomination committee results
- Participating in the planning and execution of all aspects of awards ceremonies including, but not limited to logistical support for award ceremonies, ordering of plaques and certificates, creating awards ceremony scripts, requesting and tracking RSVPs, coordinating volunteers, and proofing award booklets
- Ensuring timely and appropriate actions in order to meet local, enterprise, or external award cycles and timelines, and key decision points for processing, planning and reviewing awards data
- Tracking and reviewing employee awards recommended to ensure consistency and equity in alignment
- Processing and distributing all approved awards materials including printed or virtual certificates, Length of Service (LOS) certificates, pins, and mementos in the most efficient manner as prescribed by existing policies
Qualifications
- A focus on detail, timeliness and agility is needed in this position
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience
- Ability to influence at all levels
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Change management and facilitation experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
- Proficient in using Microsoft Teams for meetings and communications
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information
