COO Transformation Execution VP (Hybrid)

Citi’s COO-Transformation was established in 2020 to oversee the company’s regulatory engagement, project management and to lead transformation efforts. The COO-Transformation office is at the center of a multi-billion dollar transformation that will shape the future of the company over the next coming years. COO is fast-growing and is in need of motivated talent. The COO Transformation Execution Lead is seeking a VP with responsibility for helping run the governance and program management of the COO organization. COO Transformation Execution VP will also manage projects across functional teams, while working very closely with senior leaders within and outside of COO.

The COO Transformation Execution team is a high impact group with highly capable individuals.

Responsibilities:

• Support COO Transformation Execution Lead to run the governance and program management to enable Citi’s COO to oversee all areas of accountability within Citi’s Transformation program
• Identify and influence key senior stakeholders and designees on executive reporting ensuring the necessary checkpoints have been implemented and met. Develop recommendations and articulate them to key stakeholders in a structured manner
• Track and monitor the status against each of the Transformation Execution work streams and inform the Transformation Execution Lead with recommendations
• Develop a view of various aspects of CAO office to help prioritize / reprioritize projects based on practical mindset of what can be achieved
• Drive operational excellence and a closed loop planning by recommending metrics, processes and cadences to the Transformation Execution Lead
• Facilitate and coordinate cross-functional work streams within/across programs and with Senior Management
• Build and develop relationships with stakeholders across the COO organization to ensure a consistent approach to their respective areas that is embedded in the broader strategic vision

Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree or equivalent. MBA preferred.
• 7+ years of relevant business experience
• Advanced project management skills, good communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work cross functionally in a collaborative environment to ensure initiatives meet mutually agreed upon desired results between functional areas
• Ability to work well under tight deadlines in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment Proven ability to develop ideas from concept to an executable plan
• Strong business planning, organizing, prioritizing and analytical skills
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite
