Description

Amego Inc. is seeking a compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to provide Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services in a residential setting. The RBT will work directly with individuals diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or other developmental disabilities to support skill development, behavior reduction, and daily living tasks under the supervision of a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) developed by the supervising BCBA.

  • Provide direct ABA therapy to residents in their homes and community settings.

  • Collect accurate data on behavior and skill acquisition programs using company-approved software or data sheets.

  • Assist residents with daily living skills, including hygiene, meal preparation, communication, and social interactions.

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and supportive residential environment.

  • Follow and implement crisis intervention procedures as needed.

  • Communicate regularly with the supervising BCBA and contribute feedback regarding program effectiveness.

  • Attend required training sessions, team meetings, and supervision hours.

  • Adhere to all HIPAA and company confidentiality policies.

 

Sign on bonus: $2,000

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent (required); Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in psychology, education, or a related field (preferred).

  • Active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification through the BACB.

  • At least 6 months of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred).

  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.

  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.

  • Physically able to perform job duties, including lifting up to 50 lbs, kneeling, or standing for extended periods.
