I2X Technologies is seeking a Software Unit Tester

This position can be remote from within the United States

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Perform a gap priority assessment of Artemis II capabilities based on the following criteria:
  • Using the requirements that have safety or hazards controls identify the software classes (note: methods within classes will be identified by inspection) that would require additional assessments.  This will require working with SMEs on the software team to concur with the assessment.
  • Using cyclomatic complexity (> 5) identify additional classes and methods
  • Taking the results of Phase 1 perform developing the appropriate tests / rationale and perform test or document rationale in the SDF the results and hold a review with appropriate stakeholders
  • Problem reports for any failed test cases or defects found in the code and/or requirements
  • Details of the test environment, commercial tools, configuration set-ups, proprietary routines, and any other information required for reproduction of the tests
  • Unit Test stubs and drivers
  • Provide support and assistance to the software development IPTs to enable them to reproduce the automated testing coverage, results, and flight software artifacts in their software development folder testing environment 
  • Conducting software peer reviews and documenting the results of the reviews in accordance with DRD CEV-T-007 as directed by the technical POC
  • Support sustaining and mission recon activities

Qualifications

Qualifications:

 

  • Knowledge of software unit test processes required
  • Experience with unit test for the C or C++ languages required
  • Experience with Google test software test tool required
  • Experience with embedded flight software
  • Multiple platform experience helpful (Unix, MS Windows, Linux)
  • Assistance with resolution of unit test issues
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills required
  • Experience with Matlab/Simulink desired
  • Bachelor's Degree and 9+ years of experience required
