Cottage Health seeks a Financial Analyst Sr. for their CH Financial Planning department responsible for maintaining integrity of the general ledger, including analysis of financial statements. Responsibilities can include ensuring integrity of financial data in accounting systems, production of consolidated financials on a monthly basis, including elimination process. Serves as liaison with IT and ERP on systems projects. Responsibilities include:
- Provides analysis of complex accounting and business situations, various contracts and special projects as requested.
- Identifies issues and develops implementation plans to solve the issues.
- Provides accounting support for audits. May assist in supervision of accounting staff.
QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:
- Minimum: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance or equivalent experience.
- Preferred: Master's Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance or Healthcare Administration.
Certifications, Licenses, Registrations:
- Preferred: CPA.
Technical Requirements:
- Minimum: Advanced Excel skills and ability to work with large amounts of data. Ability to run and manipulate reports from financial system ERP and revenue cycle systems. Knowledge of hospital financial operations, reporting and the audit process. Proficient in U.S. GAAP.
- Preferred: Previous work experience in health care provider finance and revenue analysis.
Years of Related Work Experience:
- Minimum: 5 years of experience utilizing complex computer systems in daily work at the data analytics level and experience with financial applications and/or systems.
- Preferred: Work experience in organization(s) of similar complexity to Cottage Health.
