Telecommuting:        40% Telecommuting permitted.

JOB DUTIES: Design, develop, and maintain data pipelines to efficiently move data from various sources into a central repository.

  • Create data models, schemas, and views to organize and optimize data for efficient access and analysis.
  • Implement data quality checks and monitoring processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency throughout the entire data flow.
  • Build, test, and document data transformations, promoting code maintainability and collaboration.
  • Design and develop microservices to handle specific data processing tasks.
  • Deploy microservices to containerized environments for scalability and maintainability.
  • Configure and manage cloud services to support data pipelines and microservices.
  • Design, develop, and deploy highly scalable, fault-tolerant cloud applications leveraging serverless architecture.
  • Design and develop efficient, modern, high-performance web applications that leverage the latest front-end technologies, while ensuring responsiveness, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.
  • Build and maintain continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipelines for efficient code delivery.
  • Integrate application observability tools to monitor system performance and identify potential issues proactively.
  • 40% telecommuting allowed.

REQUIREMENTS:

MINIMUM Education and Experience Requirement: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field AND five (5) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Alternate Education and Experience Requirements: Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related field AND three (3) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Special Skills: Applicants must possess demonstrated expertise with the following:

  • Developing data processing microservices with ASP.NET Core Web API and C# for MS SQL Server OR PostgreSQL interaction.
  • Developing front-end UIs using Angular, Bootstrap, HTML5, CSS3, NgRx, and DevExtreme UI Framework or Google Material.
  • Designing, developing, and deploying scalable, fault-tolerant cloud applications using AWS services or Azure services; configuring and managing AWS services or Azure services for reliable and secure communication; and implementing disaster recovery strategies using AWS Elastic Disaster Recovery or Azure Site Recovery strategies.
  • Managing infrastructure and building CI/CD pipelines using Terraform, GitHub Actions, Octopus, Bitbucket, Jenkins, or Ansible.
  • Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines including ETL/ELT processes using Snowflake or MS SQL Server; and automating scalable data processing pipelines with Airflow (MWAA) or MS SQL Batch process.
  • Building, testing, and documenting data transformations and models using DBT or SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS).
  • Integrating with observability tools (Dynatrace and ServiceNow), AWS CloudWatch, or Azure Application Insight to monitor system performance.


 

Pay Range:

$155,000 - $165,000 per year


 

Actual base salary varies based on factors, including but not limited to, relevant skill, prior experience, education, base salary of internal peers, demonstrated performance, and geographic location.
