Job purpose

The BorgWarner Arden campus offers two world class technical centers and a cutting-edge manufacturing facility that designs and produces turbos, fan, and fan drive components for the automotive industry. The Arden campus offers a multitude of career opportunities and is in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina.

POSITION SUMMARY:

To make significant contributions in cost accounting, new business proposals, general accounting requirements, and ad hoc reporting.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

  • Supports fixed asset and general cost accounting activities for the facility
  • Handles various month end responsibilities such as account reconciliations and journal entries
  • Will support legal entity requests, IRS tax reconciliations, and annual tax schedules
  • Assists in completing the monthly forecast and annual long range planning processes
  • Supports acquisition of new customer programs through business case analysis and quoting processes.
  • Performs other routine duties and ad hoc reports with analysis would be required as directed by the Finance Manager.
  • Expected to embrace continuous improvement and make contributions towards implementing changes in our systems and processes to increase productivity.
  • Demonstrates effective problem-solving techniques. 
  • Supports the role accounting/finance plays in the overall success of the business.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or related discipline preferred.
  • SAP and OneStream experience preferred.
