Together, we are not just advancing technology; we're building a community committed to safeguarding a safer and more connected world.</p><p></p><p><b>About the role</b></p><p>A great opportunity for an Engineering Technician with multiple skills and experience to support a busy facilities team at our Manufacturing site in Livingston, West Lothian.</p><p>Due to workload there may be times when callouts are required outside of standard hours.</p><p></p><p><b>Skills and Experience</b></p><ul><li>Achieved a minimum SVQ level 3 in Electrical or Mechanical Installation and/or City and Guilds.</li><li>Minimum of 4 years experience in a similar role.</li><li>Working knowledge of one functional area through job experience & training in <span>engineering/manufacturing</span> industry.</li><li>Have a sound working knowledge of all UK facilities biased statute.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Desired <span>Qualifications/requirements</span></b></p><ul><li>Knowledge of asset protection systems to include fire alarm and sprinkler systems</li><li>Knowledge of building management systems</li><li>Knowledge of HVAC and cleanroom systems.</li><li>Water hygiene knowledge and experience</li><li>Experience in high pressure and high voltage systems.</li><li>18th Edition wiring regulations an advantage</li><li>Experience of Microsoft Office packages.</li><li>Flexible in working time (occasional weekend or out of hours)</li><li>Fork lift truck trained ideal, but not essential</li><li>Knowledge of Liquid nitrogen systems beneficial</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Responsibilities </b></p><ul><li>Support site compliance for UK legislation and Raytheon standards and procedures.</li><li>A working knowledge of asset protection and legislation to meet safety, insurance and Raytheon expectations.</li><li>Execution of both planed and reactive maintenance tasks.</li><li>Installation, fault finding, repair and maintenance of all site electrical and mechanical services, plant and equipment.</li><li>Maintain building services to include HVAC, and BMS systems</li><li>Work as part of the Glenrothes Facilities team, with high collaboration with site EHS and functional teams.</li><li>Ability to respond to day to day activities in support of operational and customer needs.</li><li>Accountable for the completion of standard or non-standard tasks, within the scope of the function</li><li>Delivers activities to support operational objectives for their role.</li><li>Makes decisions within paramet
