In this role, you'll lead educational groups, foster therapeutic discussions, and provide vital support to our clinical team. You'll create and deliver engaging presentations, facilitate meaningful group discussions, and document client progress while maintaining a safe and supportive environment for all participants.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging educational groups and facilitate therapeutic discussions that promote recovery and personal growth
- Create and present impactful educational materials that enhance client understanding and participation
- Foster a supportive, respectful, and culturally sensitive learning environment that encourages open dialogue
- Collaborate with clinical team members to evaluate and communicate client progress
- Document client attendance, participation levels, and group summaries in the Electronic Health Records (EHR) system
- Maintain high standards of service delivery in accordance with agency policies
- Monitor and ensure client safety while promoting positive therapeutic outcomes
- Participate in ongoing professional development and adult education training
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in social work, counseling, psychology, psychiatric nursing, or a closely related field from an accredited college or university OR
- High School Diploma or General Equivalency Diploma with two (2) years of responsible employment history
- May be required to apply for Missouri Associate Alcohol Drug Counselor (MAADC) credential
Additional Qualifications:
- Must possess a valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance
- Successful completion of background check including criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect and fingerprint check
- Strong group facilitation and public speaking abilities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries
- Must demonstrate intellectual vigor and effective presentation of clinical subject matter
Physical Requirements:
- Sedentary work involving sitting most of the time
- May occasionally exert up to 10 pounds of force
- Requires repetitive movements of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and writing
- May involve brief periods of walking or standing
