Job Summary:
Directs and oversees outpatient operations to ensure provision of high quality, cost-effective medical services. Develops strategic goals and directs overall clinical quality, service, administrative and fiscal aspects of the department. Provides leadership and oversight of the performance of clinic process and outcomes. Oversees identification and problem resolution of technical, operational and organizational issues. Creates system goals and provides results to senior leadership.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, healthcare or healthcare administration or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
- Master's Degree in business administration, management, health care management, or related field: Preferred
- Seven years' experience in multi-clinic operations: Preferred
- Five years' leadership experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
- Works with finance and operational leadership team to provide direction for actions to control targeted costs for clinic services. Conducts regular meetings with leaders to address issues, concerns, and to communicate mission of organization. Directs, organizes and plans the operation of assigned work efforts to implement improved processes and actives that support desired fiscal and clinical outcomes.
- Strategizes with the leadership regarding program expansion, service line growth and new cross venue care models.
- Focuses on quality improvement, utilization and reducing medical costs while incorporating the skills and expertise of provider partners.
- Provides leadership to staff, giving direction and guidance to leaders and staff as appropriate. Plans, budgets, organizes and manages the department to accomplish operational and strategic objectives.
- Analyzes and interprets complex data sets and reports, i.e., variance analysis, financial/quality, population specific reports and develops data driven action plans.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
