Compensation Range:

$103,998.00 - $155,997.00

The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.

Responsibilities:

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Plays a crucial role in supporting the overall nursing leadership team by overseeing the implementation of evidence-based nursing practices, ensuring quality patient care delivery, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the nursing department. Collaborate with nursing staff, interdisciplinary teams, and administration to develop and maintain policies, procedures, and standards that align with regulatory requirements and best practices in healthcare. Through leadership and guidance, contribute to the enhancement of patient outcomes, staff development, and organizational excellence in healthcare delivery.

The Assistant Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Lab, Electrophysiology Lab, and Holding Area is responsible for the strategic leadership, operational oversight, and clinical excellence of these procedural units within the Department of Cardiology and Nursing Practice. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care, fosters a culture of clinical and service excellence, and drives operational efficiency. The Assistant Director collaborates closely with physician leaders, the Director of Operations for Cardiac Care, Cardiac Care nursing leadership, and interprofessional teams to align unit goals with institutional objectives. The role is accountable for staff development, regulatory compliance, financial management, program growth, and the implementation of innovative programs and process improvements.  Minimum Qualifications: Master’s Degree in Nursing, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field. At least 5 years of progressive clinical, supervisory, and administrative leadership experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.  Relevant professional credentials/certifications as required by role and scope of practice. Preferred Qualifications: Seven or more years of leadership experience within a cardiovascular care setting or a similar complex healthcare environment. Demonstrated success in strategic planning, people management, process improvement, and financial stewardship. Strong knowledge of Cardiac Catheterization/Electrophysiology procedures, technologies, and clinical best practices. Skill in exercising a high degree of initiative, judgement, discretion, and decision making.
