What will you do in this role? 

The role is responsible for promoting the best environment, allowing the team to ensure supplier’s invoices are processed timely and accurately to be read for payment according to the SLAs and in line with the GKN policies. The role will also review exception items and escalate pertinent issues if required. 

Key responsibilities include: 

✓ Lead a team of more than 15 Accounts Payables FTEs;
✓ Manage the daily performance of employees;
✓ Define and manage processes and KPI's to support the team's activity;
✓ Regular one to ones and team meetings;
✓ Support internal and external audits;
✓ Keep processes and procedures updated to keep the continuous improvement;
✓ Support the monthly, quarterly and annual accounting closing process.

 

What are we looking for? 

• More than 5 years of experience within an accounting environment
• Experience as an Accounting Team Lead, with Strong financial, analytical and communication skills
• Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
• Knowledge of ERP systems, processes and workflow technology
• Ability to work unsupervised and deliver high quality work to tight deadlines
