Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Senior Financial Analyst to join our team at a large, multi-state medical group. In this role, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive financial analysis and support to optimize the organization's financial performance. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, budgeting, and possess excellent analytical skills specific to the healthcare industry.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing Provider Compensation and Contract Reconciliation: General compensation design, planning and implementation of the provider compensation plans utilizing Heisenberg II. Interpret and analyze provider employment agreements to ensure compliance and alignment with organizational objectives.
- Financial Planning and Analysis: Develop financial models, forecasts, and analyses to support strategic decision-making and long-term financial planning.Serves as a consultant to senior management regarding provider compensation, expense planning and revenue analysis.
- Budgeting: Assist in the design, preparation, and monitoring of annual budgets for clinics and departments within the medical group.
- Accurate Financial and Productivity Reporting: Generate regular financial and productivity reports for executives, operations and providers, ensuring accuracy and completeness of data.
- Profit and Loss Analysis: Analyze profit and loss statements to identify areas for improvement and cost-saving opportunities.
- Oracle ERP Experience: Utilize Oracle’s ERP system to extract, analyze, and interpret financial data.
- Lead Operations Reviews: Conduct regular reviews of clinic budgets, identifying variances and working with operational teams to address issues and optimize financial performance.
- Engagement with C-Suite Executives and Regional Clinic Directors: Serve as a financial resource for hospital C-suite executives and regional clinic directors, providing insights and recommendations to support strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 4 years of experience in financial analysis or related role,
- 2 years experience in the healthcare industry.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and draw meaningful insights.
- In-depth knowledge of healthcare financial operations, including revenue cycle management, reimbursement methodologies, and provider compensation.
- Experience with interpreting and analyzing provider employment contracts and physician compensation models.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced functions such as VLOOKUP, PivotTables, and complex formulae, is required for this role
- Preferred experience with Heisenberg II Provider Compensation Software, Essbase, Oracle ERP
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and integrity in financial reporting and analysis.
