Job Description

Compass Government Solutions is currently hiring a Nurse Practitioner, pending award, for a role at Fayetteville VA Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC to perform physical exams, diagnose, and treat diseases and other health conditions and prescribe medicine.

Job Requirements of the Nurse Practitioner

• Gathering and recording patient medical information and histories
• Diagnosing and treating medical conditions, injuries, and illnesses
• Prescribing medications and designing treatment plans
• Ordering and performing diagnostic tests
• Providing health promotion, prevention, and education to patients

Qualifications

Qualifications of the Nurse Practitioner:

• Bachelor of Nursing Degree
• Completion of a NP-focused graduate masters or doctoral nursing program from an accredited university.
• Nurse Practitioner board certification
• License to practice as a nurse practitioner by a US state, territory, or Commonwealth
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross
