About the role

Overview

Edgewater Federal Solutions is currently seeking a Deputy Program Manager to provide support to a government agency in Arlington, VA.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the secondary point of contact after the Program Manager to ensure compliance with all the contract requirements.
  • Support the organization of daily program tasks throughout all stages of the program lifecycle
  • Provide a Monthly Status Report (MSR) on the activities and milestones completed and deliverables submitted for each task for the past month and Establish dates for incremental deliverables
  • Establish milestones and activities that are planned for the next reporting period
  • Manage milestones and ensure that targets are being tracked, escalating when targets are at risk in a timely manner
  • Provide a Quality Control Plan that defines program controls and how quality will be monitored and maintained
  • Document and manage risks, issues, and corrective actions. The Program Manager has the responsibility to escalate or raise issues and concerns and serve as a communication and escalation point for the Government
  • Support communication efforts to Judiciary customers and stakeholders.
  • Track and communicate information related to unresolved issues as well as their status and actions taken
  • Ensure alignment of program deliverables to program outcomes for operational efficient
  • Be available to the COR via telephone between the hours of 08:00AM and 05:00 PM Eastern Time, Monday through Friday, and shall respond to a request for discussion or resolution of technical problems within 24 hours of notification
  • Manage all project management tracking tools and maintain information technology platforms and workflows

Qualifications

  • Shall have more than 10 years of experience including, but not limited to:
  • Providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff
  • Providing detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues
  • Consulting with client to define need or problem
  • Supervising studies and leading surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions
  • Demonstrating an ability to manage a large, matrixed, and remote workforce– especially if the contract includes sub-contract agreements
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a minimum Top-Secret clearance
  • Experience Managing large teams (over 100+ people).

 

Desired Qualifications:

  • PMP certification
