This position is onsite.
The Technical Project Manager will support the Navy’s Continuous Training Environment (NCTE) program and contribute directly to the evolution of warfighter readiness. In this role, you will help deliver critical engineering and technical expertise for the U.S. Navy’s premier Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) training capability by integrating live training with synthetic systems to create realistic, complex global training environments. You will also support the development of advanced representations for joint, theater, and national systems, helping ensure forces are prepared to meet emerging threats.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Leading and coordinating the scoping, technical requirements gathering, estimating, and planning for single or multiple projects or work streams
Coordinating systems development for major applications and defining project requirements, including information and data needs, business analysis, and programming
Coordinating all meetings and interfacing with business units, staff, and service providers to ensure alignment and progress
Directing and managing project development from beginning to end while defining project scope, goals, and deliverables
Determining when external consultants or contractors should be added to internal project and development teams to successfully complete project objectives
Managing and coordinating all technical and logistical aspects of projects on a daily basis, including timelines, risks, risk mitigation strategies, action items, and change requests
Creating, modifying, and managing Atlassian JIRA project workflows based on criteria for desired activity outcomes
Creating and maintaining Atlassian Confluence project pages to ensure current project information, status, and updates are clearly communicated
Supporting project execution that may require up to 25% travel, as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate’s degree or higher with a minimum of 4 years of relevant Project Management or IT Management experience, or a High School diploma with 8 years of relevant Project Management or IT Management
