Senior M365 Application Integration Engineer

<h3>Company Description</h3><p>We are looking for a <strong>Senior M365 Application Integration Engineer</strong> to join a global team responsible for delivering and supporting Microsoft 365 services in a complex, hybrid environment. This role is ideal for someone with strong technical expertise, a proactive mindset, and a passion for automation, security, and collaboration.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Maintain and support the global M365 platform, including updates, patching, migrations, and deployments.</li><li>Manage and enhance a provisioning portal built on Azure DevOps.</li><li>Ensure high levels of security, availability, and compliance across the M365 environment.</li><li>Provide 3rd/4th level support and collaborate with vendors and IT teams for issue resolution.</li><li>Develop and maintain operational documentation and standard procedures.</li><li>Drive knowledge transfer to L2 teams and support shift-left initiatives.</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Architecture, Cyber Defense, and Security.</li><li>Lead change initiatives within the Application Integration team.</li></ul><h3>Job Description</h3><ul><li><strong>3–5+ years</strong> of senior-level experience with Microsoft 365 in a hybrid provisioning and authentication environment.</li><li>Strong expertise in <strong>PowerShell scripting</strong>, <strong>Azure DevOps</strong>, <strong>C# development</strong>, and <strong>Terraform</strong>.</li><li>Experience in large-scale messaging infrastructure and federated authentication.</li><li>Solid knowledge of <strong>Microsoft 365 Security &amp; Compliance</strong>, including <strong>Purview</strong> and <strong>Defender</strong>.</li><li>Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English (mandatory).</li><li>Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.</li><li>Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.</li><li>Familiarity with Information Security principles and practices.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Nice to Have</strong></p><ul><li><strong>CISSP</strong> or equivalent security certification.</li><li>Broad understanding of information systems, including Windows and network security, and non-Windows operating systems.</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>Working Environment</strong></p><ul><li>English-speaking environment.</li><li>Hybrid work model: 2 days per week in the Lisbon office.</li></ul>
