Nephron Nitrile is a new privately-owned Nitrile Glove manufacturer. Nephron Nitrile products are proudly made in the USA! We are headquartered in West Columbia, South Carolina. The facility utilizes completely automated manufacturing, packaging, and distribution systems, in addition to high volume and redundant utility systems, to ensure production system availability.
Position Summary:
- To learn the Nitrile glove line production and be able to troubleshoot. To show initiative is a must, an individual who is results driven.
- Assist supervisor with overseeing production of glove lines.
- Required to work overtime when needed to cover the production area or other scheduled shifts.
- Responsible for maintaining efficient production lines while running to meet production goals.
- Serve as a leader for integrity and morale within the shift. Strive to promote teamwork and be efficient
- Assists with additional work duties or responsibilities as evident or required.
Primary Accountabilities:
- Assist with or perform cleaning, adjustments and preventive maintenance on the glove line equipment.
- Required to perform housekeeping daily and be mindful of all the production areas.
- Perform emergency repairs to equipment as needed, communicate this to supervisor.
- Set up equipment in the correct configuration for the product scheduled / running to be processed.
- Document machine startup settings and be able to write descriptive reports/explanations in manufacturing maintenance log book.
- Maintain constant communication with oncoming and off going shift supervisor and line leads for production status of glove lines.
- Understand daily line instructions at start of each shift, receive verbal turnover from prior shift.
- Ensure all Batch Records are complete to meet GMP requirements to include all required signatures and or initials.
- Assist with SME to ensure training of new hires and existing personnel involved in cross training are consistently taking place and scheduled based on production needs.
- Ability to monitor multiple production lines during breaks and as needed.
- Lead line tech may be required to take Supervisor responsibilities if absent or decided upon management discretion.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Prior electrical/mechanical experience preferred.
- Previous line technician experience preferred.
- Must have working knowledge of power transmission, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, vacuum systems, electric motors, belt drive systems, and linear motion systems.
- Knowledge of the Pharmaceutical Industry preferred
- Must pass a Drug Test.
- Must speak, write, and read English.
- Must have Valid Driver License.

- Position requires reaching (waist to overhead), bending (waist to floor), climbing (floor to ceiling), lifting (up to 50 lbs.), vision (20/20), good hearing, standing (50% of shift time), crawling, sitting, gripping, talking and walking (50% of shift time).
- Incumbents are required to comply with proper gowning requirements and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.
- Incumbents may be required to wear safety glasses, hearing protection, bouffant, and laboratory coats and other non-specified protective equipment as necessary.
- Rotating shift work will be required. Shift assignment may be adjusted as needed.
