Visiting Part-Time Faculty Position in Environmental Studies

Description

The Department of Environmental Studies at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a visiting part-time faculty position to teach one section of ENVS 247 Introduction to Geographic Information Systems (GIS) during the Spring 2026 semester to begin in January 2026. Expertise in GIS is required. Experience in teaching GIS is preferred.  

 

There are no employee benefits associated with this part-time visiting faculty appointment. Compensation for teaching one course for the Spring 2026 semester is $8,000.00.

Qualifications

Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching and inclusive pedagogies as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field.
