The Job

The Warehouse Specialist is a versatile and adaptive team member who plays a crucial role in the distribution center's efficient operation. This position supports various units and departments, including warranty, resolutions, exceptions, and more, by managing a wide range of tasks, demonstrating exceptional organizational and communication skills, and adapting to the ever-changing work environment. The Warehouse Specialist's primary focus is to maintain the quality and accuracy of warehouse operations within their designated unit/department.

The Opportunity

  • Unit/Department Support: Provide comprehensive support to the designated unit/department within the distribution center, including managing warranty items, organizing inventory, and building and maintaining relationships with vendors. 
  • Customer Care Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the customer care team to ensure the accurate fulfillment of customer orders, respond to inquiries, and support parts requests. 
  • Vendor Communication: Engage with vendors to follow up on parts, return authorizations (RAs), and credits, ensuring that vendor relations are productive and efficient. 
  • Data Management: Maintain and record necessary data to support the specific needs of the unit/department, including tracking warranty items and maintaining accurate records. 
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and actively participate in implementing changes that enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness. 
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products and materials processed within the unit/department meet the established quality standards and warranty qualifications. 
  • Communication: Maintain effective communication with the team, unit/department, and other relevant departments within the distribution center.


Requirements

The Must Haves

  • Basic understanding and/or knowledge of warehousing operations. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products; experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) is strongly preferred.
