Salary: $69,550 to $81,721

About PSRS/PEERS

PSRS/PEERS is the largest defined benefit pension plan in Missouri with more than 320,000 members. We work in partnership with Missouri public school districts to provide retirement security for Missouri's public school teachers and education employees.

Most of our 181 employees work out of our recently remodeled/expanded building located at 3210 West Truman Boulevard in Jefferson City. Our office is open Monday through Friday and many of our employees have scheduling flexibility between 7am and 5pm. We provide state-of-the-art technology and security, with comfortable, ergonomic working spaces and collaborative areas throughout the building. About the Job

As a Business Systems Analyst I, you will be a part of our Systems Support Team. You will serve as a liaison between non-technical business users and technical systems staff to collect, analyze, develop, document and communicate business requirements, and support user testing to achieve business goals. Business Systems Analysts report to our Systems Support Manager.

You will be expected to use strong analytical reasoning to collaborate with other IT professionals and staff throughout our organization on projects related to the creation, design and operation of our internal business systems with the end goal of improving the results, efficiency and performance of those systems.

You will determine if appropriate internal or external solutions currently exist, or if new solutions are required and feasible. In addition, you will determine how such solutions will impact existing work processes and systems and how to manage the integration of the new systems.

 

Job Requirements

Candidates should possess a bachelor's degree in information technology, business administration or a related field and a minimum of two years of experience in a technical or pension-related role. Previous pension-related experience is preferred.
