Internship Overview:
The purpose of the Medical Device Sales Internship is to introduce students to our exciting and fast-paced Endoscopy Commercial Organization. The goal of the internship is designed to give participants exposure and to obtain an understanding of the diverse functions across the organization including Marketing, R&D, Sales Training and Healthcare Economics. This internship is based out of our Marlborough, MA corporate headquarters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the team in developing objectives to maintain market share and increase the quality of service to customers.
- Advance our mission of transforming lives through innovative medical solutions that improve the health of patients around the world.
- Participate in hospital visits, on-site and field training workshops alongside Field Sales Representatives.
- Maintain accurate records of sales expenses, customer files and field sales reports required.
- Conduct all sales activities according to Travel & Entertainment (T&E) guidelines, Industry and Integrity Policies.
- Research, develop and present a project solution at conclusion of internship.
- This internship will begin Mid-May and conclude August 2018.
Qualifications: Successful candidates meet the following minimum qualifications:
- Rising Junior or Senior students currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree program in Business / Engineering, or other technical / relevant coursework
- Strong record of academic achievement and leadership experiences
- Demonstrate analytical, technical, communication and problem solving skills
- Able to build and maintain strong customer relationships
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, determined and goal oriented
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. on a full time basis
