Respiratory Support TechnicianThis position provides direct and indirect instruction for our patients on their new CPAP, BIPAP, machines and accessories. All training for this position is provided upon hire.
Job Duties:

• Develop and maintain a working knowledge of current CPAP/BiPAP machines and accessories offered by Adapthealth. 
• Effectively lead instructional classes for our patients on how to use and care for their CPAP/BiPAP machine and accessories in a polite, professional and informative manner. 
• Complete and explain all documentation to patient using an Apple iOS device. Including, but not limited to; Delivery tickets, safety checklist forms, patient booklet receipts, ABNs, AMAs, equipment-specific instruction/cleaning forms, etc.
• Perform follow-up calls with patients regarding their PAP therapy. 
• Perform routine preventative maintenance checks and simple repair as required by company policy or manufacturer’s guidelines.
• Assist with customer equipment problems and trouble shoot issues regarding use of their machine or accessories. 
• Retain knowledge of and consistently adhere to procedures for the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), infection control, and hazardous materials handling.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and function within the guidelines of HIPAA.
• Perform other related duties as trained and assigned.

Requirements

 Minimum Job Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Vaild idetification issued by the state of Texas. 
• Reliable transportation to and form work. 
• Willingness to undergo routine background checks.
