What You Will Be Doing

As an AR Senior Manager Europe, you are responsible for the European order to cash (OTC) process covering 7 European entities and several currencies. Your portfolio includes different types of revenue flows for hardware, software subscriptions, professional services and transactions-based billings. The day-to-day credit approvals, billings, collections and cash applications will be done by your team and supported by the global billing and cash app team. You will support them by ensuring:

• Interacting with the key European customers and business partners
• Assign credit limits based on the risk analyses of your team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align and optimise OTC process flows
• Manage the international EU AR team of approximately 4–7 employees based in 3 different European countries and India
• You are part of global operating accounting team of about 100 employees

What You Will Bring to ChargePoint

• Operational management skills to manage the order to cash flow process
• The flexibility to manage a team in multiple different time zones, and with different cultural back-grounds
• Strong organisation skills to optimise complex order flows and resolutions of credit situations

Requirements

• 10+ years relevant experience in an accounting or OTC role for an international operating company
• Proven people-management experience.
• Strong communication skills to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders
• An educational background in accounting or business economics
• Identify and create necessary business process to increase efficiencies
• Ability to set the right priorities
• Hands-on mentality when required
• Basic knowledge about VAT

Preferred

• Experience in working with NetSuite, Salesforce or D&B
• Experience in working in an US-based public company
• Experience in an EV company with roaming or other transaction-based revenue

Location

This hybrid (remote and in-office) role is based in our European headquarters in Amsterdam
