This is an opportunity to join the Protected Communications Systems (PCS) team within Strategic Solutions (SS) / Mission Systems (MS) / Collins as a Senior Analyst - Program Cost and Schedule Controls.
The successful candidate will collaborate with key functional leaders in the Program Office, Engineering, Supply Chain, as well as Leadership Team to support financial reviews and execution of $40M+ Post-Production Support programs initiatives in the future with the upward potential of an additional $50M in the new business pipeline. The position provides a broad learning experience with Program Cost & Controls execution, customer engagement/negotiations as well as continuous proposal activities.
This is a remote based role, preferred candidate will be able to work in Eastern Time zone.
What You Will Do:
In this role, you will execute a variety of program and financial control actions, including supporting Estimates-at-Complete (EACs), Monthly Operation Reviews (MBRs), and contract-specific deliverables (CDRLs) such as FMHER(Funds Man Hours Expenditure Report). In addition, primary responsibilities will include utilizing the full complement of program controls tools (Business Warehouse (BW), Analysis for Office (A/O), SAP/APEX, RPLAN) for monthly forecasting.
This position will be an integrated part of a fast-paced finance team where tactical thinking, multitasking and individual initiative are key requirements. The successful candidate will be able to provide support for ad hoc data reporting as needed.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires: Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of prior relevant experience
- Excellent computer skills including a high level of proficiency with MS Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Ability to interact with and influence individuals at every level of the Financial and Program Office organizations
- U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are authorized to access the financial management system due to government contractual requirements.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Ability to work on multiple engagements concurrently & operate effectively at all levels of the organization
- 2+ years of finance or business experience
- Ability to work in a multitasked, fast-paced, and changing environment
- Ability to provide in depth analysis of complex data
- Understanding of RTX financial and accounting policies and procedures
- Financial controls experience relative to multiple contract types
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to prioritize concurrent requirements and accommodate numerous stakeholders
