Job Description
Objective:
Place participants in transitional jobs through effective communication with team members and employers.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiatives.
- Assist employers in recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified applicants.
- Facilitate meetings between work site supervisors.
- Receive and act on daily feedback to improve performance.
- Follow all policies and procedures.
- Use standard forms and online processes for documentation.
- Develop a wide variety of job opportunities for customers.
- Maintain active contact with local community organizations, participants, and employers.
- Stay informed about the local labor market.
- Maintain a current listing of local job opportunities.
- Inform project staff about local business needs and Transitional Jobs opportunities.
- Collaborate with case management staff to facilitate Transitional Jobs.
- Perform follow-up evaluations from training programs.
- Maintain follow-up contact with employers to assess satisfaction and plan improvements.
- Conduct information sessions to engage employers.
- Refer job seekers to well-matched job vacancies.
- Follow up with job seekers via phone, email, and scheduled appointments.
- Document follow-up activities in all assigned systems.
- Manage and coordinate on-site recruiting events.
- Develop and provide accurate reporting.
- Conduct group orientations and workshops for participants.
- Maintain a readily available pool of job-ready candidates.
- Effectively manage industry sector assignments.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or comparable experience in a related field
- One year experience in sales preferred but not required
- Current valid Driver's License
