DevOps and Data Analytics Release Lead

You Are:
The DevOps and Data Analytics Release Lead is the manager responsible for the overall activities of the PMO Team, as well as ensuring communication flow between the various AFS IT Teams and Business (when applicable) regarding scope, schedule, heat map impacts, issues, and risks. Responsible to ensure there is one consolidated Release Plan and Heat Map across the DevOps and Data Analytics Teams, ensuring Scope, Schedule and Major Milestones are defined, agreed-to between Business and IT, and follow a change control process.
Responsibilities Include:
- Build a consolidated Release Plan across the DevOps and Data Analytics Teams, including major milestones, across Operations and Initiative activities.
- Work with IT Leadership to include Operations Activities and Initiatives from other areas of AFS IT that impact DevOps and Data Analytics Teams
- Work with the Teams to review the Release Plan and create a Heat Map to visually indicate which teams are heavily impacted (or have extra capacity) during each Fiscal Year
- Articulate, document, and escalate Risks and Issues where conflicts may arise (e.g. team capacity, resource capacity, prioritization help needed)
- Confirm Release and milestone delivery.
- Work with the Teams to ensure the Release Plan and Heat Map are updated as changes occur, and priorities adjust.
Here's What You Need:
- US Citizen on US soil
- 5+ years of project management, stakeholder management and cross-organization communication across multiple levels.
- Proven ability to work efficiently and independently, lead initiatives, design and implement documentation plans and work collaboratively as a team member.
- Demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate business process and technical information through walkthroughs and existing documentation to identify requirements and refine impacts.
- Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting; either military or civilian
- 3 years of experience working with Microsoft Office Programs
- 2 years of experience in business operations
- Proficient written and verbal communication skills
Bonus Points if you have:
- Demonstrated project management and cross organization leadership in professional setting; either military or civilian
- Experience or familiarity with data visualization tools.
As required by local law, Accenture Federal Services provides reasonable ranges of compensation for hired roles based on labor costs in the states of California, Colorado, Hawaii, New York, Washington, and the District of Columbia. The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set and level of experience.
