Senior IP&T Docket Specialist, Trademark

Dentons US LLP is currently recruiting for a Senior IP&T Docket Specialist, Trademark Docket based in any of our Dentons US offices. This position can be remote or hybrid.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough and detailed quality assurance checks on trademark docketing and de-docketing.
- Docket incoming postal and electronic correspondence from foreign associates and from the USPTO for trademark matters. De-docket action items from the docket system.
- Generate complex docket reports and queries per attorney, paralegal and secretary requests.
- Create new trademark records within the docketing software system and resolve any discrepancies within the new business intake system and the docketing software system.
- Create and maintain trademark docketing standard operating procedures (SOPs) and train others on established processes.
- Handle all inquiries from attorneys, paralegals and secretaries in a timely and efficient manner.
- Assist the IP&T Docket Supervisor, Trademark Docket with special projects/requests as needed.
- Provide back-up to the docket specialist team members as needed.
- Other duties as assigned to fully meet the requirements of the position.
Experience & Qualifications
- Experience utilizing intellectual property docketing software required; experience using Inprotech highly desirable
- Minimum 5 years direct domestic and international trademark docketing experience required
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite applications including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong working knowledge of domestic and international trademark processes and laws as they pertain to docketing
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
Salary
Chicago Only DOE: $85,000 - $105,000
Denver Only DOE: $85,000 - $105,000
Washington DC Only DOE: $85,000 - $105,000, DC
California Only DOE: $90,000 - $110,000
