What you'll do...

Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager to join our Cross Functional Operations team that is part of the Business Operations and Strategy organization, reporting to Senior Manager lead. This role is pivotal at creating high-performing teams through operational excellence and efficient ways of working. The ideal candidate will act as the tactical liaison between teams, optimizing internal communications, standardizing processes, and enhancing collaboration to drive alignment with organizational objectives. 

Key Responsibilities: 

Process Standardization: 

  • Support cross-functional governance with key Walmart partner teams to streamline ways of working and improve efficiency 
  • Collaborate with HR and Leaders to integrate processes at the entity level, such as onboarding, career development programs, performance reviews 
  • Support the Annual Operating Plan (AOP) and Long-Range Planning (LRP) processes with partner teams 
  • Support the organization of workshops with key partner teams  
  • Execute on associate engagement action items at entity level  

Organizational Communication: 

  • Organize, coordinate, and run key events for 1K+ associates, such as Town Halls, Fireside Chats, and Roundtables 
  • Create and share key updates (recent launches, OKR progress, org changes) with associates and cross-functional partners 
  • Capture qualitative feedback to maintain an active roadmap that drives employee engagement 
  • Oversee and create org-wide documentation (PPT templates), distribution lists, and update the central page 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Operations Management, or a related field. 
  • Prior eCommerce experience 
  • 3-5+ years of experience managing cross-functional projects 
  • Proven experience with executive communications and running presentations and events 
  • Strong organizational and project management skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders at various levels 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and other relevant tools 

Preferred Qualifications: 

  • Experience in a large, matrixed organization 
  • Knowledge of operational excellence methodologies and best practices 
  • Experience in developing and implementing process improvements
