Neonatology Physician - Greater Baltimore Medical Center - Towson, Maryland

The Greater Baltimore Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified / Eligible Neonatologist to cover our 22 bed Level 3 Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, with private rooms. Our community hospital serves ~4,000 deliveries per year in the Greater Baltimore, MD area, with active Maternal Fetal Medicine services. The NICU has an average daily census of 18.  Consultative services are available from Pediatric Surgery, Pediatric Cardiology and Pediatric Genetics. Excellent support staff including nutrition, speech therapy, respiratory therapy and child life support the ongoing care of our infants and promote family centered care. Coverage of the NICU is supported by Advanced Practitioners, with 8-10 weeks of daytime attending coverage, and 4-5 nights/month of in-house call covering NICU, Labor & Delivery and Newborn Nursery.  An additional 8 weeks of Newborn Nursery coverage occurs with supervision of advanced practitioners.
