IronMountain Solutions, Inc. (IMS) is seeking a Force Operations SME to leverage analysis and lead coordination to support the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Research and Engineering (OUSD(R&E) Assistant Secretary of Defense for Mission Capabilities (ASD(MC)) and the Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Multi-Domain Joint Operations (DASD(MDJO)) in advising the Joint Requirements Oversight Council (JROC).  This position is in Falls Church, VA and is completely onsite.  The organization’s mission is to facilitate the identification and transition of technologies, systems, and systems-of-systems that close time-critical gaps in high-priority, multi-component missions.

Work location is onsite at the Suffolk Building supporting the customer.

Job Responsibilities:      

• Assist with planning and completion of Technology Modernization Transition Reviews, lending technical expertise to help with topic selection and technology evaluations. 
• Assist with Rapid Defense Experimentation Reserve (RDER) ideation process, helping with management and execution of Joint Design Working Groups. 
• Coordinate activities of large cross-cutting communities of interest to address technical challenges. 
• Coordinate and develop holistic responses to OSD Taskings and Congressional requests for information.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is occasionally required to stand; walk; sit; use tools or controls; normal physical activity (reach with hands and arms; climb stairs); and communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leadership. The employee must occasionally lift or move office products and supplies, up to 25 pounds.

Education and General experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in any field AND, Master’s degree in Operation Research or Engineering OR possesses a certificate from advanced Professional Military Education relevant to Military Training and/or Military Planning.
• Minimum 15 years' of experience.
• Experience and expertise in at least two or more of the following areas:
  • Joint Force design, development, and application
  • Operational constraints
  • Concepts of operation
  • Concepts of employment
  • Development and execution of Combatant Command operational plans
  • Threat tactics and responses
  • Logistics approaches
• Experience working with Joint Staff, JCIDS, and military operations.

Desired Experience:

• Experience with OUSD(R&E).
• Must be forward thinking and able to take initiative with minimal guidance. 
• Technical Writing experience.

Clearance Requirements:

• Active TOP SECRET clearance with eligibility for Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI).
• U.S. Citizenship is required for this position.
