Accountant

As an Accountant, you’ll perform a variety of accounting activities in accordance with accounting principles and standards to control the organization's financial resources and ensure it complies with all relevant regulations, laws and reporting requirements. You’ll analyze financial information and prepare financial reports to determine or maintain records of assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liability or other financial activities within the organization.  

About the Role

• Review financial statements for completeness, accuracy and compliance 
• Reconcile accounts, post journal entries and maintain a complete and accurate general ledger in accordance with accounting principles and reporting schedules, so the organization has a full and accurate statement of its financial position 

• Collect, compile, verify and analyze financial information and prepare financial reports and accounting statements so senior leadership has accurate and timely information for making financial decisions 
• Prepare reports, such as balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other documents that project the organization's financial position 

About You

• Degree in accounting or related experience
