Senior Technical Recruiter

LearnUpon is looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter to join our team in Dublin on a full-time, permanent basis.

Our People team, made up of Talent Acquisition, People Operations, People Partners, and Learning & Development, is vital to our Company’s success. We are involved in every step of the employee life cycle - from recruiting and onboarding, to developing and retaining the amazing talent we have in LearnUpon. As a member of the Talent Acquisition team, you have a “can do” attitude and a great ability to put people at ease during the recruitment process and assess their suitability for the role and company. You’ll continuously network and build relationships with potential candidates to enhance the talent pool, and your work will grow and strengthen the great company culture that we have in LearnUpon.

What will I be doing?

• Managing the full recruitment process for all our Engineering and Product roles including sourcing, screening, scheduling
• Collaborating with hiring managers to understand their hiring needs
• Providing guidance to hiring managers on realistic technical requirements
• Educating hiring managers and interview panels on our hiring process and recruitment best practices
• Providing feedback for all levels of candidates
• Owning Talent team analytics reporting
• Designing creative and scalable changes to our existing recruiting strategy
• Working closely with our People Operations team to deliver a standout candidate experience, all the way through to onboarding
• Supporting our company branding efforts, including managing our “Life at LearnUpon” Instagram page and company LinkedIn page
• Representing LearnUpon at external events such as job fairs or conferences
• Organising events to source and attract candidates
• Assisting on non-technical roles as required
  

What skills do I need?                                                                                  

• At least 3 years’ technical recruitment experience hiring for a range of roles at all levels
• Proven ability to hire engineers with Ruby, MySQL, Kafka or AWS experience
• An ability to understand and explain job requirements for technical roles
• Experience with various interview formats (in-person, phone, Zoom)
• Familiarity with Applicant Tracking Systems (we use Greenhouse)
• Excellent organisational skills
• Fluency in both written and spoken English

What is the Hiring Process?

Applicants for the position can expect the following hiring process:

• Qualified applicants will be invited to schedule a 30-minute call.
• Successful candidates will then be invited to a practical interview.
• Finally, candidates will have an interview with a member of our C-Suite team.
• Successful candidates will be contacted with an offer to join our team.
